To my uttmost dismay I have left my camera at home for the past two weeks, and without a camera I don't know what I have done worth remembering! Also, I have this crazy notion that I cannot post a blog without pictures... I am striving to overcome.
So in lieu of a real blog post (with pictures and a lovely story about spring break--on it's way) I am telling you about the lion that is living in my nose.
Yesterday I felt like death. I woke up unable to breathe and the shower helped very little. I went to Chemistry, but I was incapable of focusing or staying awake so I went home and crashed. I called my marvellous mother and got the medical diagnosis and a remedy. Sleep, eat healthy, lots of vitamins, and possibly poke yourself in the nose with a syringe--which I declined.
So I spent the day sleeping and eating sick-people food. I also did a lot of praying because Tuesdays are the worst days in creation and I absolutely cannot miss any class. So I had to get better quick.
To my very grateful suprise this morning went very well. The shower was wonderful, as showers always are when you are sick, and I felt ever so much better. I survived the day without any permanent damage, and actually enjoyed it. I decided when I got home that a lion lives in my nose. He gets up and stretches every once in a while and makes it so I can't breathe. He LOVES to purr in his sleep and make bubbly noises. And conveniently everytime I want to sleep he moves around and makes LOTS of noises and completely blocks off any breath. He talks all night long and so I have to breathe through my mouth to make him quiet, and I wake up with dry lips, dragon breath, and furry, disgusting teeth. Thanks a lot Mr. Lion.
But let's not forget I was showered with free ones! Heavenly Father made me better, and my labs were quick and easy, and my brain was a lot clearer than it should have been. I even got home really early, and Mallory made Taco Soup! It was a great day! I'm so blessed! I have amazing roommates, and we have had tons of fun. :)
Isn't it crazy how you can do absolutely nothing worth remembering, but all that nothingness means so much?
Thank you roomies! And goodbye sinus infection!

I am glad your lion has gone back to sleep. You are amazing to me, in that you are so cheerful even when you're having a hard time. I need to work on that some more.
